Sebagai informasi, thermal paste yang berwarna silver / perak memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan yang berwarna putih.
Posisi Casing
Casing anda harus berada pada tempat yang mempunyai sirkulasi udara yang baik dan lancar. Posisi casing yang miskin sirkulasi udara akan memicu tingginya suhu komponen hardware didalam casing, terutama prosesor. Anda bisa mengatur ruangan tempat komputer anda berada
Heatsink dan Fan
Kabel yang berseliweran didalam caisng dapat menghambat aliran udara didalam casing. Akibatnya bisa memicu tingginya suhu prosesor. Rapihkan kabel-kabel terutama kabel dengan tipe ATA karena kabel jenis ini memiliki ukuran yang relatif besar dan lebar bila dibandingkan dengan kabel SATA.
Buka penutup casing
Bagi anda yang memakai komputer pribadi (bukan dipakai untuk umum), bisa membuka penutup casing (baik bagian kanan ataupun kiri). Ini cukup efektif untuk melancarkan sirkulasi udara dalam casing. Tapi memang cara ini bisa mengurangi nilai estetika karena casing menjadi kurang sedap dipandang akibat komponen hardware nya menjadi kelihatan. Tapi jika anda meletakkan casing dibawah meja atau disudut maka anda bisa mencobanya sehingga tidak mengurangi nilai estetika.
